"Don't want no rude and crude government dude
Causing me a hassle in my castle"
As many are no doubt aware, the U.S. Supreme Court decided in Kelo vs New London that private property may be taken by government and given to another private party for as specious a reason as increased tax revenue. Almost immediately, the town of Freeport, TX took advantage of the ruling to grab property it had wanted for some time.
In a similar vein, some jurisdictions have been prosecuting home-owners for acting in self-defense. Under the guise of "Negligent Self-Defense", these jurisdictions claim that home-owners must attempt to retreat from their own homes before they can justifiably use lethal force against a home invader! (Fortunately, this trend is being reversed by advocates of the "Castle Doctrine" movement)
In light of these and other government abuses of our rights, we invite you to download the Fourth Amendment song, "Steal Your Stuff" from our I Will Live Free CD (lyrics below). As incentive, right now we're offering I Will Live Free for only $7.60 postpaid when your purchase $20 worthof JPFO merchandise (This offer does not apply to knives, non-JPFO-published books, or other third-party merchandise.) Just add to your on-line $20 or greater order with this link: $7.60 CD Add-On
Copy the song, share it with friends, play it for your family. If you (or they!) like it, please consider purchasing the I Will Live Free CD from our online store. Make sure everyone around you knows that all of their rights are quickly becoming obsolete.

"STEAL YOUR STUFF "
by Dan Starr
Lyrics and Music (c)2002 Dan Starr Organization
Well, people gather round me now I got a story
That you might not have known
But you better listen if you workin' for a livin'
And wanna keep the things you own
Now I ain't no rocket scientist
Don't play a lawyer on TV
But there's some things we can all understand
Even a country boy like me.
See, there was some good folks who was workin' hard
Back in the days of the Colonies
But tax, tax, tax, King George wanted it all
And sent his boys to oversee
"Clear out the spare bedroom,
There's a redcoat at the door,
And he's a mouth we gotta feed,
These bullies take our space
And eat all our chow,
And it just seems to me"
A government ain't supposed to steal your stuff.
We need a guarantee
We may have ta fight and we have ta die
To make things the way they should be
You stinkin' King's Men, you think that you're tough
You want what I own and ya can't get enough
You think you got the right but I'm callin' your bluff
The government ain't supposed to steal your stuff.
Now things go works and when they'd had enough
They fought a war for liberty
And then they planned a government of their own
So as to keep them livin' free
But they all remembered how the King would steal
And it sure made them uneasy
Cuz any government can act like a King
So they wrote a guarantee.
Now people you may thaink that this was long ago
So what's it mean to me?
But I'm here to tell ya that even today
There's some things that shouldn't be
All through the land we got government rogues
Who think that they're better than you and me
They might be called SWAT or BATF
But they live to search and seize
(shouted) Don't want no rude and crude government dude
Causing me a hassle in my castle
No, the government ain't supposed to steal your stuff
And we got a guarantee
And many folks have fought and many folks have died
To make sure that's the way it will be
Now you're a government fool and you think that you're tough
You want what I got and you can't get enough
You may think you got the right but I'm callin' your bluff
No the government ain't supposed to steal your stuff
No the government ain't supposed to steal your stuff.
