Paladin Press and Brass Roots Michigan make it $43,000

"Innocents Betrayed" now has 1/4 of
what it needs. Urge your friends and clubs
to put the production fund over the top.

Thanks to everyone who has responded to our fundraising drive for the TV documentary "Innocents Betrayed," we now have $43,000 in our escrow fund. That's more than one-fourth of what we need for production -- and you've helped us raise it in only four months.

The list of people and organizations who will have their names included on the film as sponsors is growing. If you've contributed, you have our thanks and should be proud of yourself. In this message, we'd like to give special credit to two contributors.

Paladin Press is a world famous publisher and distributor of books on firearms and other weapons. They know what kind of tools are needed to get the pro-gun, pro-freedom message across to a big audience. That's why they've just contributed $1,000 to "Innocents Betrayed." People read and learn from books, but even Paladin realizes Americans don't read enough -- and that they're more powerfully moved by what they see on the screen.

Brass Roots Michigan is a hard-fighting, principled group that's spent a lot of time in the trenches to save the Second Amendment. They know that, in this day and age, we need something as visual as "Innocents Betrayed" to reach the hearts and minds of Americans. This documentary is a tool that they can use -- to recruit members, raise money for their organization, change the public mindset, influence legislators, and more.

Michael Carson, executive director of Brass Roots Michigan wrote, "We recognize how important this film can be to those whose opinions of gun ownership have been warped by the nightly news. As with all other JPFO publications, we look forward to another outstanding project that is sure to be a great success."

If you belong to a gun club that's contributed to the production of "Innocents Betrayed," thank your fellow club members and leaders. If you've contributed yourself, thank you. If your club hasn't contributed, please encourage it to do so. For a donation of $1,000, your club will get its name on this high-quality film. For a donation of $250, you as an individual can also experience the pride of being credited as a sponsor. You can also make a donation as small as $29. Make a $75 or $100 donation and receive free books from JPFO. (For more details, see http://www.jpfo.org/ib.htm).

All money is being kept in escrow. If we don't raise enough to make the film, your money will be returned to you in full. You have nothing to lose -- and everything to gain.

Our enemies are raising millions of dollars to destroy the Bill of Rights. Groups like the deceptively named Americans for Gun Safety and the Million Mom March *began* their dirty work with millions in funding from foundations and wealthy individuals. We have to raise money $100 ... $250 ... $1,000 at a time. But with your continued support, we can fight back with this powerful TV tool.

As we write this, Congress is in the process of destroying a large part of the First Amendment with the McCain-Feingold bill -- a bill that will turn many current grassroots gun-rights activities into federal crimes. If they'll attack the sacred First Amendment, how much longer will the Second stand?

If you want to do something effective to win back your Second Amendment rights, contribute to the production of "Innocents Betrayed" and urge your friends and your gun club to stand tall by making their own contributions, as well.

Help change Americans's minds about the value of firearms in citizens' hands. Help bring back the Bill of Rights. Push the fund for "Innocents Betrayed" to the top, and help pull America back toward freedom.
