Our Members Want Action!

Our June 17 Alert informed everyone about the New York man sentenced to jail time for using an unlicensed firearm to defend his family against a home invader.

One of our supporters contacted Paul Walfield, an author of one of the articles we cited, to make a vitally important point: some people actually want the government to punish armed home defenders. The letter to Mr. Walfield is worth sharing:

Subject: A Father is Going to Jail

Dear Mr. Walfield,

I think you made a serious error in judgement in your article.

Your article stated:

> Even the most ardent liberals have to believe that when
> confronted with evil and the imminent injury to one's
> child, a father must be allowed to use any and all
> reasonable means to protect his family.

If this statement were true, then Mr. Dixon would not be serving any time in jail. The people who want to take our guns away have no problem with the collateral damage of a few dead family members caused by gun control as long as no one disobeys their precious gun control laws.

[signed] Lincoln Pickard

P.S. Unfortunately the collateral damage caused by these laws is only the beginning of the carnage they can potentially cause:

Another supporter suggested a recall election to oust the prosecutor and judge. Still another supporter wants us to encourage

"our members to e-mail, or write to the local news paper in that area of New York to get a massive complaint letter writing going to the Judge and the district attorney, chastising them for their evil and perverted acts against a father who defended his family."

That's not a bad idea. JPFO supporters can certainly respond to this injustice with letter writing campaigns.

We're trying, however, to move out of the "response mode" and into the "attack mode." We're trying to seed the current and future generations. That's why we're urging our supporters to help us fund the completion and distribution of Innocents Betrayed.  This documentary film aims to affect the hearts and minds of people now and throughout their lives—to cause people to view "gun control" as evil and repulsive in all of its forms.

Help us sprint to ... and past ... the finish line!

BTW: In just a couple of weeks it will be too late to join the Producer's Circle.
