A retired University of Evansville sociology professor, Mr. Tonso has written extensively on the social, cultural, and deep-political aspects of the gun issue. His recent book, _Gun Control = People Control_, is a collection of eleven of his gun-issue essays that have been originally published over the past two decades in such periodicals as _Reason_, _Liberty_, _Chronicles_, and _Gun Week_.
