For all the talk of "reform", it appears new management
at the BATFE is upholding the status quo.
According to an article in the Washington Post, two senior ATF officials
who "opposed many questionable management and spending decisions
by the agency's former director" are being effectively demoted
by the current acting director. Read the full story at http://www.washingtonpost.com/wp-dyn/content/article/2007/02/11/AR2007021101088.html

Attempts to rehabilitate this rogue agency are merely cosmetic, as
useless as rearranging deck chairs on the Titanic. It has become obvious
that reform is not possible at an agency where valid criticism results
in demotion or other retaliatory measures. Corruption is not going
away; instead it is being swept under the rug and called "progress."
This unwarranted retribution against ATF whistleblowers is yet another
reason to support JPFO's latest film production _The Gang_,
in which we document this consistent pattern of corruption and abuse,
and make the case for abolishment of both the BATFE and federal control
and regulation of firearms. Visit www.jpfo.org/bootbatfe.htm

abolished. Then visit www.jpfo.org/thegang.htm
