JPFO Article: The Gun Control Debate

Share/Bookmark

"Today there is a raging debate in our republic about so-called "gun control," which is really just a euphemism for theft of rights. Hopefully, "gun control" will be a phrase that is eventually, "euphemized," and put out of our collective misery."

Thus begins this detailed and comprehensive look at the "gun control" debate -- an essay by JPFO's Executive Director, Charles Heller. There is a considerable amount of very relevant history but also a distinct emphasis on aspects such as the demarcation between a true and fundamental right, as against what we usually refer to as a privilege. He also looks hard at the erroneous use of this ridiculous term "assault" in considerable and logical detail.

Read and enjoy, "The Gun Control Debate" and pass it on to others.

Refer to the "Sandy Hook Index" for an archive collection of material we have shown since the tragic events at the Newtown Elementary School. Most is directly resulting from the event but also there are items simply clarifying various aspects of the "gun control" issue.
