'Assault weapons' ban won't work
The forensic scientist for the Bridgeport, Conn. Police Department sharply criticized the proposed 'assault weapon' and high-capacity magazine bans and pointed out the small number of crimes committed by high-capacity weapons in a public hearing testimony recently.
Marshall K.Robinson testified to bring out some simple facts regarding the usage of such weapons in violent crime, and essentially showed clearly why new proposals would not have any meaningful effect. This is something any logical thinking person can see is totally rational. Read this analysis.
