Why I oppose Universal
Background Checks - A turning point
The author writes about the background check aspect, following the ramping up of many proposed "freedom control" measures since the Sandy Hook shooting. The main thrust is a simple one -- universal background checks represent registration. That as most can realize is the prerequisite for efficient gun confiscation. This article is one person's opinion, but is likely shared in principle by many.
Refer to the "Sandy Hook Index" for an archive collection of material we have shown since the events at the Newtown Elementary School. Much is directly resulting from that but also there are items simply clarifying various aspects of the "gun control" issue which has been such a hot button topic again.
