Ted Cruz: Defending the 2A

Following the 2/22/17 alert description of the 4th Circuit decision regarding Maryland's "assault weapons" ban -- Cruz at CPAC has had a few brief words to say on the matter! There is little doubt that there is too often a lacking need for genuine and proper constitutional judgement in courts, in particular SCOTUS, and to that end the proposed appointment of Neil Gorsuch is vital. There is still way too much interpretation and "massaging" of the Second Amendment, both by too many legislators in general as well as from the bench -- "shall not be infringed" is where the gavel has to fall.
