Innocents Betrayed Endorsed by U.S. Congressman (and that's not all)
This has been a tremendous time for Innocents Betrayed, JPFO's powerful documentary on the catastrophic consequences of "gun control."
In a little over a week, Innocents Betrayed has:
1. Gotten an endorsement from a U.S. congressman
2. Received notice of a mainstream media award
3. Been favorably reviewed in an important Second Amendment publication
1. A CONGRESSMAN PRAISES INNOCENTS BETRAYED
U.S. Congressman Ron Paul, of the 14th District of Texas, wrote:
"Innocents Betrayed has an important message for America. It shows why gun control must always be rejected, and it shows it very convincingly."
Thank you, Dr. Paul for recognizing the power of this film and caring enough to say so. (And thank you to Gun Owners of America for helping us obtain this very important endorsement.)
2. WE RECEIVE A TELLY AWARD
The Telly Awards are given every year for the best achievements in local, regional, and cable television and in non-broadcast film and video. These are worldwide awards, recognizing the best in film and video production, wherever they may have been produced.
We've just been informed that Innocents Betrayed has won a Bronze Telly in the history/biography film and video category. Our film was ranked second overall in the Telly voting. Receiving an award from a mainstream media organization, despite our politically incorrect subject matter, was quite a coupand a great recognition of the quality of our achievement.
3. AMERICA'S FIRST FREEDOM PRAISES INNOCENTS BETRAYED
The most recent edition of the National Rifle Association magazine, America's First Freedom, contains an enthusiastic two-page review of Innocents Betrayed thoughtfully written by Dr. Paul Gallant and Dr. Joanne D. Eisen. Gallant and Eisen have done an outstanding job.
JPFO and the NRA have not always had an easy relationship over the years. In fact, the NRA has been reluctant at times even to admit JPFO exists. A review in an NRA publication is an undeniable sign of Innocents Betrayed's importance and persuasive power. Thank you, Mark Chesnut, editor of America's First Freedom!
AND THAT'S STILL NOT ALL!
JPFO was also featured in the most recent edition of Playboy as one of "Very Special Interest Groups: Nine Odd Lobbies that You Haven't Heart ofYet." Although JPFO isn't a lobby (in the sense of a political group that tries to influence Congress), Playboy's information about us was otherwise correct and informative.
The article starts on page 52 of the March 2004 edition. (And now if you buy it to read about JPFO, you can really tell people you bought it "only for the articles.")
THE SECOND AMENDMENT DODGES A BULLET.
BUT WOULDN'T IT BE BETTER IF WE STOPPED CONGRESS FROM SHOOTING AT US?
We can all breathe a sigh of relief this week, after U.S. senators killed a pro-gun bill that had gotten laden down with a Schumerite's wish list of Draconian "gun control" measures.
"We dodged a bullet," many Second Amendment supporters said with a sigh of relief.
And we did.
But instead of dodging bullets, let's stop the victim disarmers from shooting at us! Let's disarm THEM.
No, we don't mean take their firearms away. Ted Kennedy is entitled to his armed bodyguards and Dianne Feinstein is as entitled to her concealed handgun as you are.
We mean let's show the world how emptyin fact, how dangerousvictim-disarmers' ideas are.
The best waythe number one best way, bar noneis simply to SHOW THE TAPE. Or show the DVD. When you show Innocents Betrayed to your anti-gun friends and neighbors, or to people who've been neutral about guns, you can almost bet that they'll suddenly "get" it. They'll understand why firearms in citizens' hands are so vital to life and liberty.
You won't have to argue or plead or recommend half dozen books that your friends won't read, anyway. Just SHOW THE TAPE.
Many people have already verified the impact of Innocents Betrayed. (http://www.jpfo.org/ib-endorsements.htm). Now add Rep. Ron Paul, a publication of the National Rifle Association, and the Telly Award committee to the chorus of voices recognizing the power of this film.
If you don't alreay have your copy of Innocents Betrayed, buy one today. If you already have one, buy another to loan out. Or buy copies to give to libraries or community leaders. (http://www.jpfo.org/ib-orders.htm)
Make your life easy while ensuring that we won't have to dodge so many bullets from now on. The future's in your handsand that future becomes brighter with each copy of Innocents Betrayed you can put into someone else's hands.
Reach for that bright future right now.
