JPFO Mirror Site!
As many of our long-time supporters are no doubt aware, we've recently been experiencing website issues. Shortly after we announced our BATFE video (www.jpfo.org/batfevideo.htm), our normally-stable web hosting service destabilized, knocking us offline intermittently.
We've since switched our primary site (www.jpfo.org) to a new hosting service. However, we've also configured an identical copy (or "mirror") of the JPFO site. You can access this mirror at www.jpfo.net (note the ".net" instead of ".org").
The mirror site will be updated simultaneously with the primary site, so anything on one will always be available on the other. The identical files reside on two different servers at two different hosting services with two different URLs. The result should be that if the primary site experiences problems, visitors can simply log into the mirror site to get the most recent information.
So bookmark it now: www.jpfo.org AND www.jpfo.net!
On another note, the "Common Sense" column in the March issue of _Shotgun News_ will analyze the now-infamous "Shoestring Letter" (http://www.jpfo.org/alert20050117.htm), in which a BATFE department head makes the claim that a shoestring is a machine gun.
