Guess what - an almost predictable mis-reading of the Pope's statement which referred to the global arms sales. Although the term "Arms Trade" was used, it appears emphasis was quite specific. So what do we get? Yes, the Gifford's group jumping in on the 'gun-control' bandwagon to make their own excuse for more freedom attacks at home.
On September 24, Pope Francis scolded Congress for guns and weapons which are manufactured in America and sold around the world.
He said he was determined "to minimize and, in the long term, to end the many armed conflicts throughout our world," as he addressed the billion-dollar sales from American companies that he sees as a contributing factor to conflicts abroad.
Pope Francis's words may play perfectly into the hands of those trying to push the UN Arms Trade Treaty in the U.S. as well....... -->
