The link between saturation media coverage of mass murder, spree killing, jihadi attacks and copycat crimes is well established. [1]
Law-enforcement officials have for years been decrying the practice of prominently displaying the images and names of the criminal perpetrators.
News-media organizations that persist in literally glorifying these villains beyond any reasonable news value are complicit in encouraging further crime.
Jews for the Preservation of Firearms Ownership, along with a growing list of national co-sponsors, insist that reporters, editors, publishers and media owners cease and desist from repeatedly flashing the names and faces of mass murderers' and jihadis' in their work products. That immoral practice, done in the pursuit of revenue and audience, is an unacceptable corrupt use of the First Amendment, which is harming the nation and costing innocent lives.
