The child shields
On January 17th, 2013, the president signed 23 executive orders to deal with various facets of "gun control", among which was one almost turning doctors into police state snitches by virtually ordering them to ask patients about their guns! (#16). Then too, an order to the CDC to begin studying gun violence as if it were some sort of "disease" (#14). There are plenty more "goodies" in the package with most probably hidden agenda.
What was perhaps most disturbing was the use of shildren as "shields" -- as vehicles to accentuate the "it's for the children" angle, not to mention the use of (probably carefully crafted) content of supposed letters from children. This sat uncomfortably with many people, being reminiscent of Hitler's approach in the 1930s -- a stark comparison when we consider the historical effects of "gun control", registration, and subsequent confiscations.
