Since the December 14th, 2012 shooting event at the Sandy Hook School, in Newtown CT, we have accumulated a large number of articles which are archived here. They all in some way look at the many facets of the "gun control" issue and many provide valuable reference.

Sandy Hook father speaks out to his legislators: JPFO has learned that not all parents of the murdered children and their friends, have used the tragedy as a pretext for further victim disarmament. See this video of testimony by the father of one of the students who survived at the school.

Special Forces Community Letter Concerning The 2A: A well constructed letter with many facets worth noting for their veracity and relevance. It is a letter from members of the SOF community on their concerns for America and the Second Amendment, and was signed by over 1100 individuals, both active and retired.

British Gun Control and the American Revolution: David Kopel demonstrates in a very scholarly way, that this is not the case. In fact, he shows how government confiscation of guns was the ignition event of The American Revolution. Read this substantial PDF document.

The 2A: Constitutional Right or a Governmental Wrong?: One of the often overlooked aspects of the Bill of Rights is that it does not itself confer special rights -- those are unalienable natural rights -- the BoR serving to protect those rights by applying restrictions and restraints on those who would see those rights trampled.

Gun Control - A Canadian Perspective: An illuminating item from Phil Hewkin, a Canadian. He goes into quite some detail about the "gun control" he sees and experiences, and logically extrapolates from that towards what he sees potentially coming down the pike for the USA.

Gun Control and Liberal Illusions: David C. Stolinsky has written an article dealing with much about the "head-in-the-sand" syndrome. The ability to ignore and miss all that is so important.

The Gun Control Debate: An essay by Charles Heller, JPFO's Executive Director, looking at many facets of the subject.

Gun Control - Fact and Fantasy: A lengthy and highly detailed piece presented initially as a sample section, after which is a link to a downloadable document file with the full article. Useful in particular as a reference source for "gun control" fighting material - many links within. Note: 2/1/13 -- updated document file now available.
