The 50 BMG draw is now closed (plus)
This afternoon 6/21/13, we reached max on the available chances on this 50 BMG draw and so it is now closed. Our thanks go out to all who participated in this so enthusiastically -- now everyone has to wait patiently for September 28th, when the drawing will take place.
Illinois members: We heard from Todd K, JPFO member, about the following -- "On Monday night, June 24, 2013 Evanston, IL (just north of Chicago) will unveil city ordinance 76-O-13 to ban assault weapons. The meeting will take place at the Lorraine H. Morton Civic Center, 2100 Ridge Avenue, Evanston, IL 60202 - Room 2200). I will be attending this meeting to speak in opposition. Many may have already read this or seen it on the news -- 6/21/13. "The organizers of the Mayors Against Illegal Guns campaign on Wednesday 19th apologized for including Boston Marathon bombing suspect Tamerlan Tsarnaev among a list of shooting victims' names that were read during a demonstration in Concord on Tuesday.". Needless to say this was all blamed on a list of names that had not been properly checked, but that said, need we be surprised any more about what comes out of Bloomberg's 'gun-trashing' merry band of mayors?
