JPFO presents an article with a difference. The author Dean Weingarten decided, a year after learning about how a long distance revolver shot put an end to mass murder, to chronicle the event and so he researched the entire episode.
This is the detailed account, containing many pictures which, with the commentary, help to provide a good idea of what took place. It is tragic that one life was lost but consider the possibilities had not there been some form of armed intervention.
It is a sad fact that something like this, which is a classic example of the value of the armed citizen, made little or no impact in the main-stream-media. We hear all too often about freak shooting episodes, which to all intents simply help reinforce the anti-freedom people's resolve to disarm the law abiding folks.
Wide reporting of the beneficial outcomes from instances where guns are used for good is invariably decidedly lacking.
